General Inquires:
Q: What is VESA 75, VESA 100 ... ?
A: VESA stands for Video Electronics Standards
Association. It's a non-profit group of companies that set standards to a/v
equipment. If the mount says that it's VESA 75 compatible it means that there
should be 4 holes on the back of your monitor spaced 75 mm apart (about 3") in
a square shape. If it's VESA 100; the holes should be spaced at 100 mm (about
4"), and so on ...
Q: How do I know that the mount will
fit my monitor / TV?
A: You can check if the set is VESA compatible by
reading the manual, or you can measure the holes on the back of your set. For
small TVs or monitors please make sure that it's VESA 75, 100 compatible. For
medium plasma / LCD TVs please make sure that the horizontal spacing of the
holes on the back is no more than 20", and if you're purchasing one of the
bigger brackets, keep in mind that the maximum horizontal span is about 30 1/2"
